Torch Down Roofing

Torch-down roofing is performed using a professional roofing method used to bond multiple layers of modified bitumen to the top of your roof. Modified bitumen is a common roofing material made of asphalt and other polymers mixed together. It requires heat to melt the pieces to your roof and to each other to form a tight seal at the seams. Pros of torch down roofs include:

  • Basically seamless, which allows for fewer leaks.
  • Less seams make it more resistant to expansion and contraction, making it a good roofing solution for places with extreme temperature changes.
  • They reflect UV rays, making your home cooler in the summer.
  • The application process is free of harmful fumes because they don’t contain tar.
  • Produces a heavy duty, flexible, water resistant roofing material.
  • Can last up to 20 years

Torch-down roofs come in a variety of colors to help complement other intersecting roofs and exterior siding. Torch Down roofs are perfect for low angle or flat roofs, and  can be used in commercial roofing, standard roofs, under decks with living space below, or even garage waterproofing.
